There are two ways to connect Power BI to your Korbyt system to display dashboards and views from Power BI.
Power BI Launchpad Template
Power BI Builder Tool Element
These options are laid out below;
Both require information and setup in your Microsoft Power BI system for them to function in Korbyt.
Settings in Microsoft Power BI
For Korbyt to be able to connect to Power BI, first, within your Microsoft Application, you will need to configure the sharing of information with Korbyt from Microsoft.
These settings are in your Microsoft system
Microsoft has resources available to guide you through this process if needed.
Embed Power BI content with service principal and an application secret
That process in Microsoft will give you the required information to create the connection in Korbyt:
Application (client) ID
Object ID
Directory (tenant) ID
Client Secret
Power BI Launchpads
The Power BI Launchpad template allows you to quickly create a full-screen view of a Power BI dashboard without having to use the entire Builder Tool.
To use the Power BI Launchpads
Navigate to the Launchpad Screen
In the search bar, search for βPowerβ to quickly find the Power BI Launchpad Template and click on it
Click Authenticate in the center of the template

Enter your Power BI Credentials

These would be found following the instructions for Microsoft Settings at the beginning of this article.
Add any filters and Type selections
Verify your dashboard view
Click Publish in the upper right corner

You will have to give the new content a name
Other options required will depend on your tenant configuration
After clicking Next, you will have created a new Layout in the system with the name you used here
This Layout can be scheduled to screens using Playlists, or might have created its own playlist in the creation process
Power BI Element for the Builder Tool
The Power BI Element allows for a report to be added full screen or only to an area of a screen.
Because it utilizes the Builder Tool, other elements can be combined with the Power BI data in 1 visual.
Detailed instructions can be found in How To Use a Power BI Element
