Korbyt Posts to Employees using Microsoft Teams Integration
Through integration with MS Teams, Mobile and Web Newsfeed posts can be distributed to an audience of users directly into their Teams application.

Overview
Korbyt can send Posts straight to employees in Microsoft Teams through the Korbyt app, which is available in the Microsoft Teams Store. Post authors pick recipients with the same audiences they already manage in the Korbyt CMS (location, designation, line of service, or other organizational attributes).
For how to manage audiences, see: Managing End Users for Desktop(InView) / Mobile&Web
How Messaging Works
When a Post is published with Teams delivery turned on, Korbyt sends it through the Korbyt Teams app to every member of the selected audience who was imported into Korbyt via Azure SSO. Recipients get the Post content card in Teams, with a deep link to the full view. Audience members who were not imported via Azure SSO are skipped for Teams delivery.
Requirements
Before you start, confirm the following are in place:
Teams delivery enabled for your organization: Korbyt turns on the "Enable Sending Posts to MS Teams" tenant setting at your request.
Korbyt Teams app installed: Your Microsoft Teams admin installs it from the Microsoft Teams Store.
Azure AD SSO for user management: Recipients must be Korbyt users imported via Azure SSO. See SSO (Single Sign-On) Options in Korbyt.
CMS role: The person publishing Posts must be a Content Approver or above on the Mobile & Web system in the Korbyt CMS. Authors need a second approver before content is sent. See Content Managers (CMS Users) Roles and Abilities.
Setting Up the Integration
Step 1. Request Teams delivery for your organization
Who does this: Korbyt (at the customer's request)
Before your organization can send Posts to Microsoft Teams, Korbyt has to turn on the "Enable Sending Posts to MS Teams" tenant setting for your account. It is enabled per organization, so tell your Korbyt representative you want it.
Step 2. Install the Korbyt Teams app
Who does this: Your organization's Microsoft Teams admin
The Korbyt app is in the Microsoft Teams Store. Your Teams admin can find it there and install it for your organization. You don't need to upload anything manually or go through a separate approval process.
Step 3. Confirm your audience is built from Azure SSO users
Who does this: Your team
Only Korbyt users imported via Azure SSO can receive Posts in Teams. Before you send a Post to Teams, check that the audience you plan to use is made up of Azure SSO-imported users. Teams delivery skips anyone who was added another way.
Sending Posts to Teams Users
Once setup is done, you send Teams content through the standard Korbyt Posts workflow:
If needed, switch to the Mobile and Web menu view.
In the menu (side Navbar or Mega Menu), in the Content section, click Posts.
Click Create Post in the upper right and select your content type. Only Image and Video Posts can be sent as Teams messages right now.
In the Post Settings panel on the right, click Select Audience and choose your audience(s). The total number of targeted users is shown once audiences are selected.
Turn on Publish to Microsoft Teams.
Set a schedule if needed. Delivery uses Korbyt CMS server time, and there is no automatic per-timezone adjustment.
Click Publish (Content Approver role or above) or Submit for approval (Author role).
Once published, Korbyt sends the Post to each Azure SSO user in the audience through the Korbyt Teams app. For a full walkthrough of the Posts screen and all Post settings, see Newsfeed Posts.
Key Notes
Steps 1 and 2 are one-time setup for each organization. Step 3 is a quick check before sending. Step 4 is what you do every time you send a Post to Teams.
Only Azure SSO users receive Posts in Teams. Users added to Korbyt any other way won't get Teams delivery, even if they are in the selected audience.
Notes and Limitations
Azure SSO users only: Users not imported via Azure SSO are skipped for Teams delivery.
Supported content types: Images (JPEG, PNG) and Videos (MP4) only. PDF and PowerPoint are not supported.
No inline video playback: Videos open in the user's default browser. This is a Teams platform limitation.
No two-way communication: Korbyt does not process replies sent to the Korbyt app.
Timezone scheduling: All recipients get content at the same server time, wherever they are.
