This article focuses on how those settings will affect the Signage Platform

These settings are shared by other systems within Korbyt, so be mindful of any additional effects they might have if you also subscribe to our Desktop(InView) or Mobile & Web products

Brand Colors

Brand colors can be set here and then selected within the layout Builder.

These colors are also used in the Mobile & Web and Desktop(InView) products.
For the impact of color settings on other products, see Branding Controls For Mobile & Web or Desktop (InView) Application Settings

Setting Colors

On the settings screen, enter a new color code or use the color wheel to select a new color

Using Brand Colors in Building Layouts

If using the Builder Tool to create or edit a Layout.

  • In the Layout Builder

  • Add a new Text Element, or edit an existing one

  • Select Color, and then in either the Text Color or the Background Color sections

  • Use the drop-down to switch between Custom colors and Branding colors. Select Branding

  • You will then be able to use the Select Brand Colors drop-down

Using Brand Colors in Launchpad Templates

If you are building or editing a predefined layout template for a Launchpad

  • Select Predefined Layouts from the Layout screen

  • Create or Edit a Predefined Layout

  • Add a new Text Note element, or open the properties of an existing one

  • When editing the properties for the Text Note element, you will see an option to select Brand Settings

  • Clicking this box will add the option for users to select from brand colors for Text or Background to text in the Launchpad Editor

Brand Logos

Logos for signage provide a way to configure two logo options, which can then be easily selected by users when working within Layouts. They do not have an effect on their own without user action in the design building process, but once configured, if the logo is changed, it will update in all areas where the logo was referenced.

Logos files should be PNG files with filenames formatted without spaces

Stacked Logo

  • The Stacked Logo is used by the Mobile & Web and Desktop(InView) product lines to set their branding.

    • Suggested Size 120px X 60px

    • Suggested Aspect Ratio: 2:1

Horizontal Logo

  • An additional logo file area where an alternate logo can be added

    • This logo is not used directly in either the Mobile & Web or Desktop(InView) applications

Setting Logos

To set either logo

  • Click the red X to remove the current image

  • Select the new image

    • The file name should contain NO Spaces

    • Either click Select Image to browse your computer for the new file

    • Or, drag&drop the file to the area

  • Click Save in the Upper Right to confirm your changes

Using Logos in the Builder Tool

If using the Builder Tool to create or edit a Layout.

  • In the Layout Builder

  • Add a new image element, or edit an existing one

  • In the Edit Element menu, you will see two options to select either the Stack Logo or the Horizontal Logo

    • If the file is changed in the Settings later, it will update to any image element where it is referenced.

Using the Logos in Launchpad Templates

If you are building or editing a predefined layout template for a Launchpad

  • Select Predefined Layouts from the Layout screen

  • Create or Edit a Predefined Layout

  • Add a new image element, or open the properties of an existing one

  • When editing the properties for the image element, you will see an option to select Brand Settings

  • Checking the box will add a media selection space at top of the media selection space in the Launchpad editor when this image element is edited, giving users the option to switch between the Stacked and Horizontal logos

    • Use the left and right arrows to switch between them
