The Korbyt Mobile and Web platform can allow end users not only to read information, but also interact and post their own newsfeed articles.

These abilities have to be enabled system-wide first, and then can be customized for the level of interaction you will allow in individual content Categories or on Individual Newsfeed Posts

How to Enable User Generated Content

In your Korbyt CMS

• Click the settings Gear Icon in the upper right

• Click on the Mobile & Web tab

  

• In the Global Settings section, use the Toggles to control different end user abilities system wide

  

  • User Generated Posts

    • Turning on will then let individual Categories be set to allow user submitted posts

    • Users can only submit to specific Categories that allow it that they are subscribed to

    • Different levels of moderation are available in the individual Category setting, See Categories for Mobile & Web Posts for more details

  • Posts Likes and Comments

    • Turning on will allow Posts to be Liked and Commented On by end users in their news feed

    • If Turned On, Individual Posts will be able to control if that specific post allows likes and comments

      • For more details see Newsfeed Posts

    • If this is left off, no posts will allow Likes or Comments, and the controls for likes and comments will not be available on individual posts

  • User Profile Picture

    • Allows end users to add a profile picture that will appear on their interactions
