Hide collaboration on booking details if a Teams/Zoom link already exists

Description: Hide collaboration settings on booking details if a Microsoft Teams/Zooms invite already exists. Current Workflow: When a user adds a Teams link via Outlook, Korbyt Booking does not detect it. Admins may then add collaboration settings, which can overwrite the host’s original Teams link. Proposed Workflow: Detect if a Teams link is already present in the booking and automatically hide or disable collaboration settings to prevent duplication or overwriting. Business Reason: Avoids confusion, prevents accidental overwriting of meeting links, and ensures a smoother booking experience for both hosts and admins.

Provide a proof-of-play analytics experience

Provide a better proof-of-play analytics experience with user-friendly dashboards. Current Workflow: Users receive raw data exports for proof-of-play and must manually manipulate it to create meaningful insights. Proposed Workflow: Offer interactive dashboards with charts and graphs for proof-of-play metrics, reducing manual data processing. Play Count: Number of times each asset played. Play Duration: Total time each asset was displayed. Device Coverage: Number of screens/devices where content played. Audience Engagement (if sensors available): Viewership or dwell time. Content Distribution: Breakdown by location, time of day, or campaign. Business Reason: Improves usability, saves time, and provides clear visibility into digital signage performance for decision-making.

Launchpad - Allow Editing of HTML Element when Templatized

Currently, the HTML Element can be configured as a Templated Element within the Layout Builder’s Properties window. However, once a layout is published as a Predefined Form or Launchpad, the HTML content itself cannot be edited. This enhancement request proposes enabling HTML content editing directly within the Launchpad editing interface. This would allow users to easily paste HTML snippets or embed iframes (e.g., third-party widgets or integrations) without needing to create or modify a custom layout each time. Enabling this functionality would greatly improve flexibility and reduce the overhead of maintaining custom layouts for simple embedded content.

Tag Subscription Preview & Playlist Orientation Filtering

Problem Statement We are planning to leverage Tags to allow users to easily subscribe to content created by other groups or departments. However, there are two key limitations in the current workflow: No Preview or Verification Option When content is automatically aggregated via shared Tags, users cannot view or preview the combined content before it appears in their playlist. This prevents users from verifying whether the content is appropriate for their audience or relevant to their intended display purpose. No Orientation Control Currently, there is no way to restrict a playlist to display only Landscape or Portrait content. As a workaround, users have been manually adding β€œL” or β€œP” to tag names (e.g., Event-L or Announcement-P) to indicate screen orientation β€” but this is error-prone and inconsistent. Proposed Solution Tag Subscription Preview Panel When a playlist or layout is configured to use tagged content, provide a β€œPreview” or β€œView Combined Content” button. This opens a panel showing all media items currently associated with those tags. Users can: Verify what content will appear in their display rotation. Remove specific items (if permissions allow) or flag them as inappropriate for their audience. Playlist Orientation Filter Add an optional setting in the playlist configuration to filter by orientation: Landscape only Portrait only Both (default) When enabled, only media items that match the selected orientation are included in the playlist. This orientation metadata could be derived automatically from each file’s dimensions or set manually when uploading media. Benefits Governance & Quality Control – Users can verify that tag-based playlists only include appropriate and relevant content. Efficiency – Reduces the need for manual review or tag naming conventions like β€œL” or β€œP.” Consistency – Ensures screens always display content in the correct orientation, preventing distortion or blank spacing. Scalability – Enables easier management of cross-departmental content sharing through tags, reducing the risk of content mismatch. User Confidence – Users know exactly what’s being shown and how it will appear. Example Use Case A department subscribes to the tag #CampusEvents to display university-wide content. Today: They cannot preview the aggregated media and must rely on naming conventions to determine orientation. Proposed: They can click β€œPreview Tagged Content” to confirm which media items will appear. They set the playlist to Landscape-only, ensuring all Portrait-oriented content is automatically filtered out. βœ… Summary: Add a Tag Subscription Preview Panel and a Playlist Orientation Filter (Landscape/Portrait) to improve content governance, ensure display consistency, and eliminate the need for manual orientation tagging.
