Add “Recommended Serving” option to Add-ons to enable automatic quantity calculation based on participant/attendee count.
Current Workflow:
Add-on quantities must be manually entered or tied directly to the number of participants (1:1). There is no way to account for shared servings (e.g., catering platters), requiring users to estimate quantities, which can lead to over- or under-ordering.
Proposed Workflow:
Introduce a new “Recommended Serving Size” option within Select AddOn Quantity By alongside Unit and Participants.
Admins can configure a serving ratio (e.g., 1 per 5 attendees) in the Add-on setup, and the system will automatically calculate the required quantity based on the number of participants.
Business Reason:
Simplifies catering and resource planning, reduces manual calculations and errors, and ensures more accurate ordering aligned to real-world serving practices.
