Korbyt’s platform allows users to seamlessly create and integrate QR codes into their signage, improving engagement and providing a convenient way for viewers to interact with displayed content in real time.
This capability adds a layer of interactivity to static digital displays.
You can use a QR Code service you already engage with or use the Korbyt QR Code Element to create the codes themselves
QR Code Element and Predefined Templates
Give your content creators a quick and easy way to build QR Codes that can be scanned by a mobile device to open a URL-based resource.
Users can create templates that have a QR code region already defined and upload their own link in the QR code. This makes sure the overall aesthetic of the template meets your branding guidelines while still offering the flexibility of embedding unique QR codes per user.
The URL element can be configured to use foreground and background colors that might align with your organization’s aesthetic, not just black and white.
More about the QR Code Element can be found in How To Use a QR Code Element
The QR Code Element can also be templatized so that users who only submit content have a way to quickly paste a URL link into a template.

Use Cases For QR Code Driven Interaction
Sharing Predefined Webform Submission Link
Predefined Webforms are shareable, premade templates that you create and configure, allowing non-Korbyt users to submit content in a controlled way.
Predefined Layouts For Web Based Submission
Once the submission link is created, QR codes are a great way to share these forms. Giving people walking by your Digital Signage displays a simple QR code to scan and submit their content within minutes. This easy-to-use tool is great for shout-outs and experience sharing in any environment.
And using the moderation features over submitted content, your tenant content managers will be in control of what is actually seen.
Playlist Feedback
This option can be enabled in any Clever Playlist in the playlist settings.

It adds a QR code screen that will display at the end of the Playlist

Giving your audience a chance to scan the code and then provide feedback on the content you have been playing

Space Management with Room Scheduling Element
The Korbyt Room Scheduling Element can be configured to allow users to scan the display outside of a meeting space to see availability and reserve it through your compatible space management system

Space Management with Korbyt Booking and Bookit App
With Korbyt’s Low-cost space management Booking service, users can use the Mobile Booking App to reserve conference rooms, hotelling desk, and huddle workspaces through the simple scanning of a QR Code for that space.
Mobile Booking App – Check in/out of spaces using QR codes
Korbyt Booking is a separate service and is not standard to digital signage.
Sonar Links for Seeing Signage Content on the Go
The Sonar feature gives you the ability to share your Korbyt content on its own website or any 3rd party sites or apps that can play a URL or show embedded iFrame code. It achieves this by creating an HTML/URL feed of information from your Korbyt Tenant, which can be viewed by internet-connected devices.
How To Create A Sonar
This functionality allows content created within Korbyt to also be embedded on your Digital Signage screens as QR codes. Any user walking by can scan the QR code and take the playlist with them on their phone’s web browser.
It's important to note that Sonar content can be fully interactive, so this is a great way to share interactive mobile content from a non-interactive TV.
Sonar is a subscription enhancement to signage services
Sonar to Create Mobile Wayfinding
Korbyt offers a Map Element that can be used to create a Wayfinding experience for navigation around campus or corporate buildings.
How To Use a Map Element
These maps can be saved as a Layout and then shared via Sonar URL, possibly witha a QR code. Users can walk up to a map, plot their course, and then take the map with them on their phone.
Sonar to Create Feedback Surveys
Korbyt’s survey system and Survey Element give the ability to share an interactive survey into a Layout design.
How to Use a Survey Element
Combined with Sonar’s ability to share that Layout to any web-based device and a QR Code for easy sharing and access of that link, you have a tool that could allow you to create and share a mobile survey all within Korbyt
