Currently, the CreateAI feature appears in two locations within the Korbyt UI:
The main navigation bar, and
The Launchpad area.
When users click CreateAI, they see a “Request Access” button.
When this button is clicked, the resulting email is sent directly to Korbyt Product Administrators, not the tenant’s own administrators.
This can cause:
Confusion for customers who are not using or ready to adopt CreateAI.
Unnecessary access requests are being sent to Korbyt directly.
Potential risk of accidental feature activation for tenants who do not intend to enable CreateAI at this time.
Administrative Control to Hide or Disable CreateAI
Add a toggle within Settings → Signage (alongside other global signage options such as “Enable Korbyt Launchpads” and “Enable Tag Administration”).
This toggle would allow tenant administrators to:
Turn off CreateAI completely (removing it from both the navigation bar and Launchpad).
Or hide it from non-admin users while still visible to Administrators.
This placement ensures consistency with existing signage configuration controls and makes it easy for tenant admins to manage CreateAI visibility.
Redirect Access Requests to Tenant Administrators
When a user clicks “Request Access”, the notification email should be routed to the tenant’s designated administrator(s) instead of Korbyt Product Owners.
This allows internal teams to:
Review and gauge internal interest in the feature.
Respond directly to users with information about organizational policy or the timeline for adoption.
Prevent accidental or premature activation of CreateAI.
Customer Clarity – Reduces confusion by hiding unavailable or unused features.
Administrative Oversight – Keeps tenant admins in control of CreateAI visibility and requests.
Internal Insight – Allows organizations to measure user interest before enabling the product.
Governance & Risk Management – Prevents unintentional feature activation.
Consistency – Aligns with the structure and behavior of other configurable signage features within the Signage Settings tab.
A university tenant has not yet enabled CreateAI due to internal branding and compliance policies.
Currently, A user clicks Request Access, and the email is sent directly to Korbyt Product Administrators.
Proposed: The tenant admin disables CreateAI visibility under Settings → Signage, removing it from user view.
If the toggle remains enabled and a user clicks Request Access, the email is sent to the tenant admin, who can respond appropriately.
✅ Summary:
Place a “CreateAI Visibility” toggle in Settings → Signage to allow admins to control the feature’s visibility, and ensure all Request Access emails are routed to tenant administrators rather than Korbyt Product Owners.
